Patty Mills launches Indigenous Community Basketball League for a Second Year
Indigenous Basketball Australia (IBA) is proud to announce their highly anticipated second season of the Indigenous Community Basketball League (ICBL). Following remarkable success both on and off the court in its first year of operations, the program continues to pursue its mission of providing a pathway of participation and success for the next generation of Aboriginal youths and Torres Strait Islander youths.
Source Water Visit
Team Mills Foundation had the chance to re-visit the Source Water team at their new HQ! We sat down with Jerry Williams of Navajo Nation to tell us how Source has greatly impacted over 500 homes on Navajo Reservations by installing Source Water hydropanels, providing access to clean drinking water for multi-generational families.
Source Water Update
Since the Patty Mills and AIB Community Water Partnership was launched in 2019, six vulnerable Indigenous communities have been provided with greater access to clean, high-quality drinking water with Source Hydropanels. With urgency growing on Closing the Gap between Indigenous and non-Indigenous Australians, this life improving partnership demonstrates a feasible solution to improving the health and wellbeing of Indigenous populations in the most remote areas of the country.
