Our Logo Story

Our logo is a powerful visual reminder of what drives us as individuals but also as a collective. Not only is it a symbol of connection and community but it signals commitment. Our logo brings together many elements that together symbolize the power of the collective.

It begins with the shell of a sea turtle.

This shape is a Mills family totem and you will see this feature in many visual ways throughout our organizations. 

Not only it is a representation of our connection with the earth, but it is also a symbol of strength and protection and reminds us of the innate power and potential we all have to make a difference to others. 

The many hands that form the center of our logo reflect the sheer power of the collective.

It captures a sense of optimism and action; outstretched, open hands and fingers ready to connect and come together, to make a real difference.

It’s what we call ‘all hands in, everyone is "all in", coming together, committing to the work we do.
